Little Violet Birthday Card

To continue this month's series on Santoro stamps, I chose No. 32 Little Violet to showcase this week. I let the name of the stamp be my inspiration for the color theme.

Using the Concord and 9th Turnabout stamp, Scattered Dots, I created my own background. Stampin' Up ink in Gorgeous Grape and Highland Heather coordinated with the cardstock beautifully.

Little Violet is precious. I find her innocence charming. To color her, I used a combination of Copics and Ohuhu markers in the following colors:

Copics - V6, V12, V15, E000, E00

Ohuhu - 101, 104, 120

On the interior of the card, I chose to include an insightful verse by Albert Einstein. It is a good reminder of how to look upon life.

I finished off the card with the same scattered dots background.

In case you did not see my post of February 1, 2021, I used my standard Basic A2 Layout Design for Stamped Image that I created on Design Studio. I don't always feel like measuring out my cut pieces, so this is my easy cheat.

The card dimensions are:

(1) - 8.5" w x 5.5" h, scored at 4.25"
(4) - 4 1/8" w x 5 3/8" h
(1) - 3 1/8" w x 4 3/8" h
(1) - 2 13/16" w x 4 1/8" h
(1) - 2 7/16 w x 3/8" h
