Stitched From The Heart Card Set

Now that Christmas has passed, I thought I would share this month some of the card sets I made as gifts for the holiday season. After all, with many of us still social distancing, I thought it would be an excellent way to help my loved ones stay in touch with those important people in their lives.

I created this set for my daughter. She is drawn to clean lines and appreciates needlework, so I knew she would love this design.

The colored cardstock is Recollections from Michaels, and the white cardstock is Neenah Bright White. The hello die is from Gina Marie Designs, as is the stitched square die

I absolutely love the cross-stitch die from My Favorite Things. I use it all the time. Typically for cross-stitching projects, I prefer to use DMC embroidery floss. However, for cards, I picked up this super inexpensive floss from Amazon. The sweet little heart die is also from Amazon.

For as simple a design as what it is, this card set took the longest of all to make. When considering a cross-stitch pattern, be sure to factor in the time you need for the stitching.

Until next week, happy crafting!
